  1. Review the 7-minute video with your sustainability planning team. This could also be assigned as prework to a meeting.
  2. Discuss the questions below.

Discussion Questions:

  1. What are the components of Widespread Use in Comprehensive Planning?
  2. In what ways are your experiences like those of Shauna and/or Collin? How are they different?
  1. If you have not done so already, complete the Capacity for Widespread Use & Continuing with Fidelity portion of the sustainability self-assessment in A Comprehensive Guide to Sustainability Planning (see p. 28).
  2. Using the results of your self-assessment as a guide, strategically integrate questions from pages 14-15 of A Comprehensive Guide to Sustainability Planning into sustainability planning team meetings to reflect on and plan to strengthen human capacity and organizational capacity/authority, structural and material capacity related to data, continuous improvement, and alignment and integration. Identify action steps and integrate them into your project plan.
