Sustaining Teacher Training in a Shifting Environment

This brief summarizes research on student teaching, provide strategies to consider, and highlight strategies to avoid. It focuses on how districts and preparation programs might partner to use student teachers to support student PK-12 learning while setting student teachers up for success during their early career. The EED Grantee Community can use this as a starting place for further conversation around how to sustain teacher training during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
