Defining Meaningful Outputs and Outcomes: Measuring What Matters for Your Grant Slides

Slides from a webinar on how to define meaningful outputs and outcomes to inform program improvement and support grant success. The webinar provided a framework for defining outputs and outcomes that help identify what is/isn't working to help grantees decide where to strategically focus efforts to improve, sustain, and scale grant activities. Participants considered different types of outputs and outcomes that can answer the questions most important for their grants; explored common pitfalls to avoid in defining meaningful outputs and outcomes; reviewed examples of output and outcome measures used for similar programs; and applied the discussion to their own grant contexts via small group discussions with other grantees on strengthening the outputs and outcomes of their grants.
