
Joshua Batchelor, Ed.D.
EED Program Officer
Joshua Batchelor, Ed.D., joins the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education's EED Division as an Education Program Specialist. His primary assigned role is to provide guidance and support over the School Ambassador Fellowship Program. He also supports other discretionary grant and program opportunites within the EED office.
Before joining the Department, Joshua spent two decades serving in support, instructional, administration (school- and district-level) and consultant roles in P-12 public education. His former and current research areas strategically center around teacher and leadership development.
Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a specialization in Reading Education from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and a Master of Arts in Education from Argosy University, focusing on Instructional and School Leadership. Joshua received his Doctor of Education in Leadership with a focus on Educational and Community Organization from the American College of Education.
